Usyk beats Fury in heavyweight epic to set up blockbuster Dubois rematch
Oleksandr Usyk has further cemented his position among the pantheon of boxing greats, outclassing Tyson Fury on his way to a unanimous decision (116-112 x3) victory on Sunday in Saudi Arabia.
Usyk, who handed Fury his first career loss in May, outpointed the Brit to retain his WBO, WBC and WBA heavyweight titles.
With the win, Usyk improved to 23-0 and attention now turns to who he will face next and we may have already got the answer, with Daniel Dubois challenging the Ukrainian to a rematch.
“I want my revenge. Let’s go,” he said, to which Usyk replied: “His excellency, make the fight”.
